Named one of 2020’s “50 People Who Really Perform for Chicago” by NewCity’s Stage issue, a Windy City Times 30 Under 30 honoree, and Chicago Reader’s Best Actor of 2017, he has made a name for himself across stage and film, alike with “magnetic”, “achingly authentic”, “vulnerable, honest, and yet also confounding” performances.

Daniel currently portrays Darren Ritter, a rookie firefighter, in his second season (8) of NBC’s #1 drama Chicago Fire and is featured in Freeform’s The Thing About Harry and Stephen Cone’s award-winning film Henry Gamble’s Birthday Party, now streaming on Hulu. He has starred in productions at Lookingglass, Steppenwolf, Chicago Shakespeare and Goodman Theatres, and was most recently seen onstage in Tarell Alvin McCraney’s world premiere production of Ms Blakk for President.

He is managed by Etcetera & Company and represented by Stewart Talent Chicago & LA.
